I want to extend a special thank you to all of those that came out to vote on Tuesday November 4th . It was a record turnout and I am very honored to have received your vote and support!
Your overwhelming support has shown that you want a leader who will work toward the greater good for all of Kentucky.
I look forward to working hard for the people of the 16th district. I promised to hit the ground running if elected as your State Representative and I've already begun.
I've been meeting with key leaders and business owners in both Todd and Logan Counties who, like all of us, want to see positive changes and growth made in our communities.
After being sworn in on January 6th I proudly introduced HJR 4 to direct the Transportation Cabinet to designate KY 3519 from the 68/80 bypass to US 431 North as the "Cpl. Josh Moore Memorial Highway" and erect appropriate signs. Cpl. Moore, Logan County's first fatality in the war in Iraq, died on May 30, 2007 in Baghdad from injuries suffered after the Humvee he was in was hit by an explosive device. He was a graduate of Logan County High School. |
